For investors evaluating the sovereign AI infrastructure layer.
Limit Systems is building the operating system that lets regulated industries run AI inside their own perimeter. Apps on top. Sovereign infrastructure underneath. Every layer runs on customer hardware, under customer control.
// platform position · regulated perimeters · nothing leaves the perimeter
The cloud-first AI stack fails by design for regulated industries.
Every regulated enterprise hits the same wall. Their data has to stay inside the perimeter. Their networks do not always reach the cloud. Cloud inference economics break at production scale. Their auditor and CISO have to sign off in the same room.
The architectural answer is an operating system that runs the AI workload inside the customer perimeter, end to end, with governance off the shelf and modularity preserved. That is the position Limit Systems holds.
Four reasons the category forms here.
- 01
The market is being created by regulation.
Sovereignty mandates are tightening across the EU, the UK, Switzerland, and increasingly the US. The EU AI Act is in force. The buyer that used to consider cloud AI is now legally barred from it. The category is moving from preference to mandate.
- 02
Hyperscaler "private AI" leaves the gap open.
On-prem hardware from the major clouds still routes management through the vendor control plane. For the regulated buyer, that is partial sovereignty with full lock-in. The architectural answer the market needs cannot come from the incumbents whose business model is the lock-in.
- 03
Platform position, not application position.
We build the operating layer on which vertical AI applications run. The platform is the moat. The applications are the proof. The category compounds: every new vertical compounds the platform value rather than diluting it.
- 04
Modular product, contract-first interfaces.
We do not sell lock-in disguised as integration. Customers can swap components or take a deployment in-house. Counter-intuitively, this is the position that wins in regulated markets, where customers will only buy what they can also leave.
The platform is real. The applications are real.
Limit Platform runs inside customer perimeters with vertical applications packaged for regulated sectors. The technical surface is public; the architecture is documented; the engagement model is conversation-driven.
Conversation-driven, not form-driven.
